Tholing's 15C White Temple (Lhakhang Karpo) is a large hall whose walls are covered with splendid paintings dating back to 15-16C. Luckily this building was not destroyed by the Chinese during the Cultural Revolution, as it was used as a storage room for grain and other supplies.
